Desert Smash, the world’s most famous celebrity tennis event that brings together Hollywood and pro tennis for charity, has announced the 21st annual event set to take place March 3-4, 2025, at the recently renovated La Quinta Resort & Club.
For 20 years, Desert Smash has proudly raised millions of dollars for charitable causes, which can be greatly attributed to celebrities and tennis professionals who generously donate their time and participation in the name of philanthropy. Notable past participants include Charlize Theron, P!NK, Will Ferrell, Justin Bieber, Kevin Hart, Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic, Stan Wawrinka, Casper Ruud, Emma Raducanu, among others.
Proceeds from the 2025 edition of Desert Smash will benefit The WTA Foundation’s Global Women’s Health Fund in support of UNICEF, where every dollar raised will help fund critical nutrition work for women and children around the globe. In addition, multi-grammy award-winning artist P!NK will be hosting the incredible day on the tennis court!
New for this year, Desert Smash will be partnering with HexClad, the world’s most innovative kitchenware brand, to offer ticket holders a true culinary experience at the inaugural “HexClad Cuisine Court” where guests can enjoy an all-inclusive array of top chef-inspired culinary offerings as part of the remarkable daytime experience at Desert Smash. In less than a week, Desert Smash will welcome new and returning talent to the pickleball and tennis courts at La Quinta Resort & Club for two days of on-court fun battling for a good cause. Among the early tennis players who are generously donating their time and are confirmed to participate are Aryna Sabalenka, Nick Kyrgios, Naomi Osaka, Ons Jabeur, Qinwen Zheng, Felix Auger Aaliassime, Alexander Zverev, and Holger Rune, with more surprise announcements to be made soon!
